Ron and Lynn Rutter started RockSide Winery in 2007 on 17 acres among the rolling hills of Fairfield County near Lancaster. The winery and tasting room opened in 2011, after 4 years of growth in the vineyard. They grow their own grapes for many wines and puchase grapes for others, as certain grapes grow well in the Ohio climate.

They offer wine tastings and have some food available in the tasting room. Saturday nights they have local live music from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Rockside Winery and Vineyards is 28 miles from the cabin and a 45 minute drive one way. It is best to call ahead on Friday nights, as they may close at 7:00 PM if a private event is being held.
